Graduated in Communication Studies from Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Minas Gerais/PUC-Minas and completed his BFA with emphasis in sculpture and drawing from Escola Guignard/UEMG in 2010.  Since 2009 he has participated in several exhibitions, such as: Crônicas Urbanas, curated by Isaura Pena e Marco Túlio Rezende, at Galeria Anna Maria Niemeyer – Rio de Janeiro, 03/2011; Nova Escultura Brasileira, curated by Alexandre Murucci, at Caixa Cultural – Rio de Janeiro, 12/2011; Partilha, curated by Benedikt Wiertz, at Galeria Oscar Cruz – São Paulo, 03/2012; 37° SARP – Ribeirão Preto Contemporary Art Awards, juried by Bitu Cassundé, Leda Catunda, Nilton Campos and Ricardo Resende, at Museu de Arte de Ribeirão Preto – Brazil, 08/2012; Through the Surface of the Pages, curated by Júlio Martins, at Harvard University, Cambridge – USA, 09/2012; Abre Alas 11, curated by Daniel Steegmann Mangrané, Livia Flores and Michelle Sommer, at A Gentil Carioca – Rio de Janeiro, 02/2015; Thin Failure, solo show at the Hudson D. He was an artist-in-residence at: Instituto Sacatar, Itaparica, Brazil; Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, USA; Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Omaha, USA;  Fundação Bienal de Cerveira, Portugal; I-Park Artists’ Colony in East Haddam, Connecticut.

In September 2012 he was the recipient of a federal grant to realize the residency/solo show Drawing to No End, at Milepost5, Portland-USA. In April 2014 he participated in the 10th Sao Paulo International Art Fair represented by AM Galeria from Belo Horizonte and was awarded the 2014 ICCo-SP Art Residency Grant.

His work is held in the collection of the Museu de Arte Contemporânea – MAC Niterói, Rio de Janeiro.
